Welcome to Wickery 13!

What started out as a hobby has turned into a small home business based out of my apothecary or as my family calls it "The kitchen".

After being hit with Covid four times in the last 2 years, I developed long haul Covid. Underlying conditions started to come forth on top of the MADD that I've battled since I was a child and chronic pain that I've been battling for the last decade. I had to stop working, as I was getting worse and worse by the day, my body and my mind were failing me. 
 

Now, I'm not one to sit still and not do anything, I needed a hobby. I needed something to keep me busy but didn't require the world of me. Something that would keep me from staying in overdrive. So we thought, why not make candles. We love candles and our home is littered with them.
 

My journey began with just a few candles here and there. Eventually it progressed into making several a month, which then progressively grew more and more. As I have slowly been healing I have been diving into more and more projects. We eventually decided hey, why not turn this into a business!? I love making candles, I love being surrounded by them and as Dumbledore once said "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light". Even in my darkest times I want to share my journey and passion through the wonderful scents we have created. I want to share that little light with every one!
